The refractive surgeons perform the laser surgery and Dr. Post and associates manage the pre-operative and post-operative examinations here in our Alameda office. The LASIK procedure involves creating a protective corneal flap and then applying a laser beam to remove corneal tissue to correct your refractive error. The eye begins healing within 24 hours and most people can return to work the next day.
