Dr. Sophia Chen, a certified member of the American Board of Opthamology, has been in practice for nearly ten years. In 1997, she was named Optometrist of the Year by the Alameda - Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society. She also serves as teaching staff at the facility of La Clinica De La Raza. Dr. Chen specializes in cataract as well as lasik surgery. She also has a great talent for fitting glasses and contact lens. She keeps up with the latest advances of the optometric industry through on going seminars and classes. She is fluent in Taiwanese and has office hours every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of the month.
